Further details regarding AC Milan’s plan to build a new stadium have come to light, with the financial cost revealed to officials.

The Rossoneri are due to leave their San Siro home after around 90 years, and have since last year been submitting plans for a new modern facility which they will be the sole owners of.

Milan and other investors will be facing a figure of around €300 million for the construction of the stadium, according to Milano Finanza.

It is also reported that the Serie A side will directly contribute only €30 million to the project, with the rest of the funding coming from a syndicate of banks and a “new company”.

The new stadium is currently planned to be built in close proximity to the Casa Milan complex, which houses a club museum, store and restaurant.
