Genoa-Parma has officially been indefinitely postponed by the Lega Serie A.

The match was set to take place at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday, but the match has been postponed due to the Ducali’s crippling financial woes.

“We considered the joint petition presented by the Italian Footballers’ Union and the Italian Association of Football Coaches, requesting a postponement of the Serie A Genoa-Parma match scheduled for March 1, 2015,” a statement read on the Lega’s official website.

“We have considered the extraordinary situation that currently involves Parma FC.

“Given these factors, we have ruled in favour of postponing the Serie A Genoa-Parma match from March 1 to another date that will be scheduled by the Lega Nazionale of Italian Professionals.”
