Inter midfielder Hernanes admits its difficult to digest their last-minute 1-0 loss to Napoli in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday evening.
A Gonzalo Higuain goal in the 93rd minute after a defensive error by the Nerazzurri was enough to take the Partonopei into the semi-finals of the competition.
“There is great disappointment, the team played well but in the end we conceded a goal like that,” Hernanes told Rai Sport.
“It was a goal that was hard to digest, but now we get our head up and think about the league.
“I’ve been very unlucky here at Inter, but now I am fit and I want to win something with this jersey.
“It’s difficult, after all the hard work we put in, to collect so little reward. I’m returning to form, I think I had a good game today.
“My favorite role? The one I had today, in the middle of a midfield three.
“Mancini has changed the way we play: we try to attack opponents and to play the ball on the ground. The results will come, I believe.”
