Palermo coach Giuseppe Iachini has encouraged his side to keep their feet on the ground despite the potential to qualify for Europe after their 2-1 victory over Hellas Verona on Sunday.
The Serie A newcomers have performed well since their return to the league and the Rosanero coach has deflected questions about whether his side can carry on with their solid run of form.
“We are not concentrating on Europe, we are focused on obtaining results and continuity,” said Iachini to Radio Rai.
“We always have a great mentality, both home and away.
“The thought is always to win and today against a strong Verona side we succeeded in doing so.
“They had a very compact defence but we played well and must continue doing so.
“We have to take it bit by bit and focus on collecting the maximum number of points in every game that comes.
“Then in the spring we will see how we are doing and maybe think about something more.”
