Inter are reportedly eyeing Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar as a possible replacement for Mauro Icardi, should the Biscione star leave the club this summer.

The 21-year-old, whose current contract with the Viola is set to expire in June 2016, has done well filling in for the injured Giuseppe Rossi this season, scoring five goals in his 15 Serie A appearances thus far, and could be a main target of the Nerazzurri once the 2014-15 campaign comes to a close.

According to SportMediaset, Icardi may prefer to make an exit from Inter this summer, as he has been heavily linked with several European giants including Chelsea for quite some time now, which would leave the San Siro outfit open to making a bid for Babacar.

Reports also suggest that the Senegalese forward may be in favour of a move to the Milan side if Fiorentina fail to offer him a contract renewal in the coming months.

Aside from the Gigliati youngster, Inter have also been monitoring Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko and Olympique Marseille striker Andre Pierre Gignac.
