Inter have made the first move to sign Nice’s versatile midfielder Didier Digard as they seek to add more depth to their squad.

The Nerazzurri have been keen to add more players to their squad and the 28-year-old Frenchman is an ideal target as his contract is set to expire at the end of the current season.

According to Calciomercato.it, the Nerazzurri hierarchy have made initial contact with the French First Division side over a move for Digard.

The former France U-21 international began his career with Le Havre before he opted to join Paris Saint-Germain in 2007. He endured a frustrating season in Paris and elected to join Middlesbrough and during his time at the Riverside he had two loan spells with his current side Nice, and made the switch permanent in 2011.
