The San Siro hosts a blockbuster match between Inter and Fiorentina on Sunday afternoon, with both sides coming off impressive Europa League wins over Celtic and Tottenham Hotspur, respectively.

The match will also have huge repercussions for European places, with both teams targeting the final Champions League spot.

With the victory away to Cagliari on Monday evening, Inter made it three straight victories in the league for the first time since 2012. The win against Celtic as well only boosts their confidence and it finally looks like boss Roberto Mancini has them playing like a side to fear once again.

Fiorentina themselves are in fine form, unbeaten in eleven games across all competitions, and becoming increasingly hard to defeat. Like the Nerazzurri, the victory against in-form English opponents Tottenham in the Europa League will only serve them well.

The two meetings last season resulted in 2-1 Inter victories, but their only meeting this season back in October ended in a 3-0 demolition in favour of the Viola. Juan Cuadrado –now at Chelsea – was the hero in that game, so Inter will be happy they will see the back of him for this fixture.

Contract rebel Neto will in for the injured Ciprian Tatarusanu once again, with the Brazilian showing he is committed to the cause (at least until the end of the season) with a good return against Spurs.

Alessandro Diamanti and in-particular Mohamed Salah have been in good form since making the move to the Viola mid-season, and they will be expected to get the nod either side of Khouma Babacar, who should be reinstated for Mario Gomez – who received the nod against Spurs.

Salah was linked heavily with the Nerazzurri in January, and will be keen to show them what they missed out on.

Roberto Mancini finally looks to have settled on his line-up; so many changes will not be expected. New signings Xherdan Shaqiri, Davide Santon and Marcelo Brozovic have all integrated into the squad brilliantly, and will be expected to start again.

In-form striker Mauro Icardi will look to trouble the Fiorentina backline once again, with the Inter striker scoring the winner in the meeting between the two sides last season. Juan Carrizo meanwhile, will continue to deputize for the injured Samir Handanovic.
