Filippo Inzaghi’s reign as AC Milan coach is in no danger of coming to an end, despite continued poor performances.

The Rossoneri have just one win from their last eight Serie A games, and have slipped to a dismal 11th in the table, one place below historical rivals Inter who are facing similar hardship.

However, club legend Inzaghi will remain as the head of the team for the foreseeable future, according to Sky Sport Italia.

It is reported that club president Silvio Berlusconi and vice-president Adriano Galliani have met to discuss the state of affairs, but the summit was focused on the playing staff as opposed to the managerial team.

Milan threw away a first-half lead to draw 1-1 with lowly Empoli on Sunday, and face a side of similar stature in Cesena in their next fixture.
