Juventus will reportedly land Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan at the end of the season after failing to secure him this winter.

The 26-year-old, whose current contract with the German side is set to expire in June 2017, has been linked with a possible move away from the BVB during the January transfer window due to their extreme struggles in the Bundesliga this term thus far, though it seems like he may have to tough it out for the remainder of the campaign before he finds a new home.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Borussia Dortmund have rejected Juve’s advances to secure the Armenian international in recent weeks and would be unwilling to begin negotiations for his sale until the summer, with the former Shakhtar Donetsk man apparently pushing for a move to the Old Lady as soon as possible.

Reports suggest that Juventus will now look to either Alessandro Matri or Pablo Osvaldo to temporarily fill an attacking space until Mkhitaryan is available.

The attacking midfielder has provided one assist in his 13 Bundesliga appearances this season thus far.
