Manchester City are plotting to use Stevan Jovetic in a potential swoop for Juventus superstar Paul Pogba this summer.

The Citizens are seeking a formidable replacement for Yaya Toure for future campaigns in the Premier League, and are keen on bringing in the former Manchester United man.

According to a report from The Daily Mirror, the Sky Blues are keen on including Jovetic in a potential deal with the Bianconeri in order to land Pogba.

With the Premier League champions recently signing striker Wilfried Bony, the Montenegrin striker appears to have fallen further out of favour from Manuel Pellegrini’s plans at the Etihad Stadium.

Juventus have been tracking Jovetic for some time now, and were close to signing the striker before his €26 million move to Manchester City in 2013.
