AC Milan’s match-winner Jeremny Menez believes that the Rossoneri must use their game against Parma as a lesson and that their season starts from this moment.

Menez, 27, was instrumental as the Rossoneri ended their five game win-less streak in the league courtesy of his brace and a Cristian Zaccardo strike and Menez knows that the team must learn from this result.

“From tonight we must start again, this match should be a lesson to us,” he told Sky Sport Italia after the game.

“Today was not all perfect, but we showed good team spirit, if we continue like this we can do good things.”

The goalscorer also discussed that it was more important for Milan to pick up points than for him to succeed on a personal level.

“I don’t look at the goal-scoring charts, I prefer to bring home points for Milan,” he recounted to Mediaset Premium.

“We must not give up, we have to stay united as a group, it is the only thing that can help us move forwards.”
