M'Baye Niang - MontpellierOutspoken Montpellier president Louis Nicollin has branded M’Baye Niang not good enough for AC Milan.

The 20-year-old French youth international just made a temporary move to Genoa until the end of the season, and has impressed so far, netting twice in his first four games.

Niang spent the second half of last season at Montpellier, and Nicollin was not impressed by the player’s impact during the loan spell at his club.

“I think he has some quality, but perhaps not enough for AC Milan,” Nicollin told Tuttomercatoweb.

“Otherwise they wouldn’t have loaned him out twice; they would’ve kept him, right?”

“He has great talent, but he did not impress me during his spell here. At Montpellier he wasn’t able to make the difference.”
