Juventus’ second leg match against Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park will be a stern test according to Alvaro Morata.

The Bianconeri striker scored the winning goal and was involved in Carlos Tevez’s opener as his side took a slim 2-1 advantage from the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 match against Dortmund at the Juventus Stadium on Tuesday night.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia after the victory, the Spaniard was pleased with his team’s performance as well as his own.

“I think we played well, it was the best game I’ve played in since joining Juventus,” he said.

“We overcame a strong side who have performed well in this competition regardless of the problems they are having in their league.”

However, the former Real Madrid man was mindful of the challenge that stands before the Old Lady in Westphalia in two weeks time.

“It will be a difficult game in an intense atmosphere, we will have to give it our all, but we will go there with the intention of progressing to the next stage.”
