Roma captain Francesco Totti has designed a special edition Nike boot, a pair of which he will wear himself.
The sportswear giants have a special edition of their well known Tiempo range, which is the style that Totti has worn for the majority of his career. Speaking to ANSA about the shoe’s release, the Roma captain confirmed his widely known preference for boots with a tongue.
“I have always played with a model with an external tab, for me it is an important part of the boot,” he said.
The report also states that only 3000 pairs of the edition will be available for sale worldwide.
Totti has scored five times and assisted a further five goals in his 16 Serie A starts so far this season.
