With the financial predicament at Parma worsening and their Serie A status coming under serious threat, Crociati midfielder Antonio Nocerino has come out to try to explain the current predicament that the club finds itself in.

Following their 3-1 defeat to AC Milan, the Gialloblu now find themselves firmly rooted to the bottom of the table and the 29-year-old has spoken about not only the teams situation but also everyone who is involved at the club.

“The team has not been paid for seven months,” said the Milan loanee to Mediaset.com

“However, it is not only the players, it everyone involved in the club, from the staff members to the gardeners.

“We are all just want to know what will happen, we are all waiting for some news on the matter.

“The thing is a lot bigger than it seems.”

Nocerino was also quizzed upon his ex-teammate Antonio Cassano after the player chose to terminate his contract following a dispute over his unpaid wages.

“Everyone is free to make their own choices and we still respect him.”

Nocerino then continued, providing a genuine insight into what is happening at the club, as well as giving an intelligent response to his own personal situation.

“Everyday I am meeting people with very big hearts, they arrive at nine o’clock every morning with smiles on their faces.”

“When you only get paid €800 a month it is not easy, but there is a large group of people facing this situation with great dignity.

“Money does not bring happiness, therefore I will not play the victim as life has given me so much. I speak for those who are in a worse situation than my own.”
