Palermo centre-back Ezequiel Munoz has responded to speculation linking him with a potential transfer to AC Milan, affirming those reports are false.
Rumours had suggested the 24-year-old was close to joining the Rossoneri during the January transfer window, as Filippo Inzaghi’s side were looking for defensive reinforcements.
Speaking to MilanNews.it, the Rosanero defender refuted claims he was on the verge of moving to AC Milan.
“I know nothing about any deal [between AC Milan],” Munoz said.
“All players would like to go to Milan. But at the moment I have a contract with Palermo and I have to respect that.”
Munoz has amassed over 120 appearances for the Sicilian outfit since his move from Argentina side Boca Juniors in 2010.
