Former owners Tommaso Ghirardi and Rezart Taci have reportedly ceded Parma for one euro, following the financial mire the club has found itself in

Parma have gone through a financial meltdown, with Antonio Cassano and Felipe terminating their contracts, others being sold during the January transfer window, and the ownership group finally selling the club.

Parma was sold to Mapi Group, with Giampietro Manenti acquiring the club and becoming its new president. Tutto Mercato Web reported that Ghirardi and Taci were attributed a solitary euro to transfer the club over to Manenti.

Official reports about the club’s new ownership is expected by the end of Monday, with new president Manenti expected to be presented on Wednesday.

Parma still sit 20th in Serie A, 10 points from safety, and all but doomed to be relegated to Serie B.
