Tottenham Hotspur coach Maurico Pochettino was disappointed with his side’s elimination in the Europa League to Fiorentina as he felt his Spurs were somewhat unlucky.

The Argentina felt that the Viola took the lead from what he felt was their first real chance in the game but he felt that they deserved it in the end because they took their chances.

“They scored, we didn’t,” said Pochettino as reported by FirenzeViola.it

“In the first half we played very well and deserved more, we had chances to score.

“In the second half we made mistakes and who scored was the team that deserved to go through.”

Pochettino was also asked if he regretted not playing Harry Kane from the start.

“I always look to put the best players on the pitch, the performance was good, I don’t regret the choices I made.”
