The Prosecutor’s Office is set to open a case against Parma for criminal offences committed that have left the club teetering on the brink.

Balance sheets for the club will be analysed in order to try and get a handle on what tax offences may or may not have committed by club directors although there are no names of suspects released at present.

This is according to Gazzetta di Parma who report that the investigations which have opened could end with the club being declared bankrupt, with a hearing scheduled for March 19.

Meanwhile, Giampietro Manenti has appealed to Parma’s treasury for any available money that could aid the club in their current plight.
