UEFAThe latest Uefa rankings have been released today after a week of European football and things are finally looking up for Italian clubs.

Serie A had all five representatives in the Europa League progress into the next round and its sole Champions League survivor, Juventus, beat Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the knockout phase.

Though these impressive set of results still leaves Italy fourth in the overall standings, they have gained ground on third placed Germany, who are now just 13 points ahead.

However, it’s the individual club rankings that have been boosted the most with Torino’s stunning victory in Bilbao helping the Granata move up eight places to 85th.

Neighbours Juventus consolidate their 20th place as the strongest Italian club, but Inter (22nd), Napoli (23rd) , Roma (43rd) and Fiorentina (53rd) all climb the table.
