Udinese boss Andrea Stramaccioni has revealed that his team will be looking to earn an important win in their away match with Cesena on Sunday and hopes his men can be decisive on the pitch.

The Zebrette, who have had extra time to prepare for their clash with the Seahorses due to the postponement of their previous Serie A game with Parma, are currently in 13th place on the league table and the tactician insists that his players have remained united and focused on securing positive results for the remainder of the season.

Stramaccioni spoke during a press conference on Friday about Udinese’s preparations for their match against Cesena and commented on what he expects to see from the visiting side.

“On Saturday we will finish our training at the Stadio Manuzzi to test the synthetic pitch,” said the 39-year-old.

“We must have a decisive match, giving our opponents few chances to play their game.

“This group is very united and every player has had the ambition to do well from the beginning.”
