Watford have announced they have completed the signing of ex-Juventus and Roma fullback Marco Motta.
The 28-year-old Italian international was released by the Bianconeri earlier this month having struggled to get into the first team during his four and a half year stay in Turin.
Watford have moved quickly to sign him up, and he joins the Italian contingent when includes Gianni Munari, Gabrielle Angella and Fernando Forestieri at Vicarage Road.
“Italian full-back Marco Motta has completed a move to Watford, subject to international clearance,” a statement read on the official Watford website.
Watford are currently up in the promotion places of sixth position in the Championship, and are hopeful of getting promoted to the top flight.
