After a 3-1 victory at the San Siro against Parma, Cristian Zaccardo expressed his happiness to get the Rossoneri back to winning ways.

The centre-back netted his first goal for the Rossoneri after joining the attack and linking up with Jeremy Menez for the third goal of the match; to which he did not celebrate against his former club.

“It’s a day to remember, I’m very happy.” said Zaccardo to Rai Sport.

“I played my former club,  I used all my strength, I scored and we won. We must continue like this, we lack continuity, we must continue to get points and get back in the standings.”

The 33-year-old followed with comments on his standing within the lineup at Milan.

“It was my first game this year, I always try to find myself ready,” said Zaccardo. “I was given the opportunity and I did my best. I have not played much at Milan, but my feeling is that even those who don’t play a lot are still contributing.”
