Duvan Zapata - Napoli

Following the 2-0 home win against Sassuolo at the Stadio San Paolo, Napoli striker Duvan Zapata expressed his content with his role at the club.

Zapata led the front line for the Azzurri in the absence of striker Gonzalo Higuain who was serving a one-game ban, and was able to score the opening goal and assist Marek Hamsik for the second.

“We knew the importance of winning this game,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “I’m happy with the goal and the 3 points.

“We’re focusing on second place and we will only get there if we continue playing like this.

“I’m glad to play here at Napoli; I know my role and I make sure I’m ready whenever called upon by [Rafael] Benitez.”

The Partenopei sit in third place with 45 points, three points off Roma in second.
