galliani silvio berlusconiAn Arabian consortium are set to begin talks over investing in AC Milan.

The Rossoneri have been linked with groups from Thailand and China in recent months as owner Silvio Berlusconi looks for overseas investment to boost the club’s cash flow, which is currently running under a typically high wage-bill and a lack of money from European football.

The latest group to make contact about their interest in Milan are a consortium from the Arabian Peninsula, according to Tuttosport, with representatives due to hold a meeting with Berlusconi at some point in mid-April.

What’s more, it is known that certain consortium affiliates are family members of Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour, which may give a taster as to the wealth that this group possess.

On the pitch, meanwhile, the future is even less certain as Filippo Inzaghi’s men sit 11th in Serie A and travel to Fiorentina on Monday.
