AC Milan defender Salvatore Bocchetti claims that his team will begin to pick up positive results if they continue to work hard.

The 28-year-old was part of the Rossoneri side that drew 0-0 at Chievo on Saturday night and the club have now won just two of their last eight matches in Serie A.

The former Genoa man however told Rai Sport that this doesn’t tell the whole story and that it is only a matter of time before their form changes.

“We tried hard, we had several chances to score but unfortunately we didn’t succeed,” he said after the game at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi.

“If we work with intensity sooner or later the results will come.”

Bocchetti has made four appearances since joining Milan on loan from Spartak Moscow in January.
