AC Milan fullback Ignazio Abate has been called up to the Italy squad for Tuesday’s friendly against England.
Antonio Conte is looking to test out several players during the high profile friendly that is set to be played at the Juventus Stadium, and as a result a few additions have been made to the squad that battled to a 2-2 draw with Bulgaria on Saturday.
ANSA reports that Abate has been added to the group and has already landed in Turin to begin training with the Azzurri camp.
Inter fullback Davide Santon has also been added to the squad and both are expected to feature in the friendly.
