The agent of Udinese keeper Orestis Karnezis has denied knowledge of a potential move for the Greek goalkeeper to Serie A rivals Napoli.
The 29-year-old has been a regular for the Zebrette with 24 Serie A appearances in his first full season after spending 2013/14 on loan at Spanish side Granada, thus attracting the attention of the Partenopei.
“We know nothing about Napoli and honestly this is the first time I’ve heard anything about it,” his agent Vasileios Panagiotakis told Tuttomercatoweb.
However, he stated that all transfer talk will have to hold off until May.
“I think it’s still too soon and we will see from May onwards when prospective clubs, Italian or foreign, will know their situation better.
“Today Karnezis is focused on Udinese and doing his best for them until the end of the season.”
