Ajax winger Thulani Serero has hinted that he may leave the Dutch champions at the end of the season, and has admitted AC Milan would be one of his preferred clubs.
The 24-year-old South African international has established himself as one of Ajax’s key players in recent seasons, but admits that he is at a stage in his career where he may leave to further his career.
“I don’t know what to say, it is difficult, because every time I think about it I lose sleep,” Serero told The Citizen.
“I am at a stage in my career where I have to make decisions. I will wait until the season is finished and then see what happens.
“[Move to the Rossoneri] I don’t know anything, but it is one of the teams supported growing up. I will not say anything because I don’t know how true it is.”
Serero has been an ever-present for Frank de Boer’s outfit this season, making 32 appearances across all competitions so far.
