Mario Balotelli Liverpool InstagramLiverpool striker Mario Balotelli has once again garnered attention after posting “somebody doesn’t like me” in a cryptic message on social media.

The 24 year old Italy international did not specify who the message on Instagram was directed to after uploading the post after Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Burnley in the English Premier League.

His post read:”Someone doesn’t Like me. But differently of what they say about me I am a team player and I am so proud of my team,of this win and of these fans! let’s keep going bravi ragazzi!!! YNWA !!!”

The striker recently stirred up controversy when he appeared to overrule captain Jordan Henderson in deciding to take a penalty in a 1-0 Europa League Round-of-32 first leg match against Besiktas at Anfield on Feb. 19.

Despite scoring the penalty, Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers went on record saying that the player has to improve his performances.

“We need to ensure that whatever level of the game we are playing at we have everyone working as a team and once we get the penalty, Mario stopped working,” said Rodgers.

“So he needs to improve on that facet of his game to play in his position, rather than standing on the side of the football field.”
