Cesena coach Domenico Di Carlo has described his team’s performance against Udinese as ‘perfect’.

The home side were 1-0 winners at the Dino Manuzzi stadium earning Cesena their fourth Serie A win.

“It’s a major victory, today we played the perfect match against a tough team,” he told Sky Sports Italia.

“We were well balanced and waited for the right time to score, I would also like to compliment Udinese.”

A late goal from Alejandro Rodriguez condemned Andrea Stramaccioni’s team to a second away defeat.

“It’s important that we continue with the right attitude and play our style of football,” Di Carlo claimed.

“We can’t afford to make risk assessments or calculations,” the Cesena concluded in his interview.

Cesena are now one point behind Cagliari with relegation still looking a distinct possibility.
