Empoli midfielder Simone Verdi could make his return to AC Milan after four years away from the club.
According to Tuttosport, the Rossoneri will meet with Torino in the summer to resolve the ownership of Verdi.
AC Milan had been the Italian’s home since the age of 11 until he left for Torino in a part-exchange deal.
He joined Empoli side in 2013 and helped earn them promotion to Serie A, contributing five goals.
His rise has not gone unnoticed by his former club who will be looking to regain his full-ownership.
Verdi has scored once in 22 Serie A games and twice in two Coppa Italia matches so far this season.
