Vincenzo Montella has insisted that he is not leaving Fiorentina for AC Milan, dismissing the suggestions as gossip.
The former Roma and Sampdoria player is in his third season at Fiorentina and is keen to build on the success he has brought to La Viola.
“The rumours about me going to AC Milan are gossip.” Montella told Rai.
“In this job you have to get used to the media, but in this case they are well off the mark.
“In my three years at the club we have done some amazing things despite not winning a trophy.
“That has to be the next goal for this club, to win a trophy and I believe that we are on the right path to achieve this aim.”
