The future of Inter captain Andrea Ranocchia is looking increasingly in doubt as he is still yet to sign a contract renewal.
The 27-year-old’s current dealt is due to expire at the end of this season and an agreement is not reached in the coming months then he will be allowed to leave on a free transfer.
According to Tuttosport.com, a verbal agreement was reached between the two parties in the past that included a two-year deal worth around €2.2 million a year.
However, the player is still yet sign any official contract and it is rumoured that a problem concerning the player’s image rights is what is holding the deal up.
The player has previously stated that he wants to remain at the club and seek a solution, although Inter coach Roberto Mancini has already said to be eyeing up alternatives.
