Napoli hero Manolo Gabbiadini was pleased his side managed to come back from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw in their Coppa Italia semi-final clash with Lazio.
The Partenopei went behind after Miroslav Klose got on the end of a Felipe Anderson through ball, but Gabbiadini equalised from close range after good work from Gonzalo Higuain.
“It was an important result, both getting a draw as well as the away goal,” the former Sampdoria striker told Rai Sport.
“They [Lazio] were good in the first half, in the second we reacted well and this was good.
“The important thing is to do well for the team and get results.”
Napoli host Lazio at the Stadio San Paolo on April 8 in the second-leg of the semi-final.
