Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin revealed that the Nerazzurri did all that they could to win despite ultimately falling 1-0 to Fiorentina on Sunday.

The home side failed to extend their Serie A winning streak to four matches, and the Colombian admits fatigue played a factor in Inter’s struggles on the night.

“There was a bit of fatigue but we were still able to create chances,” Guarin stated while speaking with Inter Channel.

“We tried until the end. It was a good match in any case.

“The post? It’s upsetting, it was the right time to score again. That’s how it went unfortunately.

“On a personal level I am calmer, I have confidence. Along with that I am achieving continuity with my position along with our matches. I am able to find space and make passes.

“I am feeling better all the time, that is important for the team and the coach. This allows me to help those that don’t have the same confidence.”
