Serie A duo Inter and Roma are unlikely to sign James Milner.
The England international is out of contract in the Summer with English champions Manchester City but it looks likely that he will not be moving to Italy.
According to the Daily Mail, Milner is set to stay in the North-West of England and join Liverpool.
The 29 year old will be a direct replacement for Steven Gerrard who is leaving Liverpool for the MLS once the season is over.
Milner has played for England 53 times and will be on €9 million a year deal at Anfield.
It seems that as well as a lucrative contract, the guarantee of first team football has convinced Milner to join the five time European champions.
