Inter could make a move for Olympique Marseille star Florian Thauvin, with the club not expected to make Lukas Podolski’s loan move permanent.

The Nerazzurri are undergoing an attacking revolution under coach Roberto Mancini, with Xherdan Shaqiri also being added to the ranks of a more offensive style of play, and the changes are set to continue.

Podolski’s fitness issues and lack of goalscoring danger will see his loan conclude in the summer, with 22-year-old Thauvin being mooted as a serious alternative, according to Sportmediaset.

The Serie A giants reportedly looked to bring the player to the club last summer, but were unable to in the face of financial limitations.

Thauvin has become a fixture in the Ligue 1 outfit, featuring in all but six of their league matches thus far.
