Inter are preparing for the possibility of life without Samir Handanovic by targeting Mattia Perin and Pepe Reina.
Handanovic is currently under contract until June 2016 but as yet hasn’t responded to the Nerazzurri’s offer of an extension worth more than €2,5 million per season as he wants to play Champions League football.
Therefore Inter are willing to consider offers for the Slovenian international to avoid losing him for free next year, and Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the club’s top targets are Genoa’s Perin and Reina of Bayern Munich.
The club are also said to be looking at other targets including Marseille’s Steve Mandanda, Sergio Romero of Sampdoria and Chelsea’s Petr Cech.
Handanovic has made 30 appearances in all competitions this season for the Biscione, and has been the club’s first choice goalkeeper since joining for €11 million from Udinese in 2012.
