Handanovic - InterWith news that Mauro Icardi is too important for Inter to sell, debate is now centering around which player might be sacrificed this Summer to help fund the Nerazzurri’s transfer strategy.

With the side having a very indifferent season under coach Roberto Mancini, rumours are surfacing that custodian Samir Handanovic may well be the next star out of the San Siro.

According to reports in Tuttosport, the Slovenian international looks set to be placed on the transfer list, with Rudi Garcia’s Roma a potential destination for the former Udinese shot stopper who’s contract expires in 2016.

The newspaper goes on to suggest that ex-Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina may well be the man pursued to replace Handanovic at Inter, if the player can be tempted to leave German giants Bayern Munich.
