Inter president Erick Thohir is reportedly readying for a €60 million spending spree for next summer’s transfer window, in order to help the Nerazzurri seal Champions League qualification.

Thohir’s spending spree will of course see some sales, with the sales of Mauro Icardi and Lukas Podolski being key before Inter can see other arrivals.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini would be looking to improve every zone of his team, by bringing in a new defender, a midfielder, a new winger and a striker.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Dynamo Kiev’s Aleksandar Dragovic would be a target for the defence. In midfield, the transfer for Monaco’s Jeremy Toulalan looks all but done already. Inter are monitoring Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir as well as Marseille’s Andre Ayew whose contract expires in the summer.

As for the attack, Inter would be looking towards former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato and Marseille’s Andre-Pierre Gignac, whose contract expires this summer. The situation of Paris Saint-Germain’s Ezequiel Lavezzi is also of interest, with reports of the Argentine being on his way out.

Finally, Mancini still harbors hopes to bring in Manchester City’s Yaya Toure.

I would sell of Icardi, Handanovic and Kovacic as well as the Poldi going back to Arsenal, won’t happen for many reasons. But there is a lot of money in those players… enough to bring in cheaper and as good if not better replacements.
