Inter are monitoring the performances of Hoffenheim star Sebastian Rudy, with a view of making a concrete move in the summer.

The 25-year-old German international, who is adept at playing in defensive midfield or at right-back, has established himself as one of the club’s most important players since moving from Stuttgart in 2010.

Tuttosport report that Inter have identified Rudy as the perfect replacement for the outgoing and injury-plagued Jonathan, who is set to leave the club when his current deal expires at the end of the season.

The Nerazzurri reportedly sent scouts to watch Rudy in action for his national team in their match against Australia on Thursday evening.

Rudy has netted four goals in 22 league appearances for the German outfit this season so far.
