Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri and midfielder Claudio Marchisio will be awarded new contracts with the Old Lady at the end of the season, according to reports.

The 47-year-old took over at Juventus Stadium from the highly-successful Antonio Conte, but has surpassed expectations thus far with a 14-point lead at the top of Serie A sending them towards a fourth consecutive title — Allegri’s first since winning the Scudetto with AC Milan in 2011.

Currently on a contract until 2016, the Italian will be offered an extension until 2017 in the summer, as reported by Sportmediaset.

Furthemore, the Bianconeri are looking to tie down midfield talisman Marchisio, who’s contract also runs out in 2016, on an extended deal to run until 2019 to effectively keep the 29-year-old in Turin for the remainder of his playing days.

Marchisio has been an important player under both Conte and Allegri in the successes of the league leaders’ reign over Serie A.
