Claudio Marchisio JuventusJuventus have been dealt a blow following the news that Claudio Marchisio could be out for the remainder of the season following a knee injury suffered whilst training with the Italian national side.

The incident occurred during the Azzurri’s final training session before they travelled to Sofia ahead of their Euro 2016 qualifying fixture against Bulgaria.

The initial worry was that the the player would miss Italy’s two international fixtures however Sky Sport Italia are now reporting that he could be absent for up to six months.

The player underwent tests at Italy’s training base in Coverciano following the injury and it is rumoured that the player has damaged the cruciate ligament in his right knee.

This news will come as a disappointment to the Bianconeri who are still competing in three competitions this season and would have been hoping that the Italy International would have bolstered their midfield.

Marchisio has made 27 Serie A appearances during this season and has scored twice.

Damn, darn, damn. Now that Juve caught a break in Champions they suffer two MAJOR injuries to Marchisio and Pogba.

I don’t think they can overcome this.
