Juventus are planning to bolster their attacking options during the summer as the Bianconeri plot moves for in-form Palermo duo Paulo Dybala and Franco Vazquez, although they face competition from elsewhere in Europe.

The Argentine born pair have impressed for the Rosanero this season, scoring 19 goals between them with Vazquez recently rewarded for his exploits with a call up to the Italian national team for the Azzurri’s upcoming matches against Bulgaria and England.

Their form has not gone unnoticed with La Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that Giuseppe Marotta, Juventus’s sporting director, has already made contact with Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini regarding the duo, although one stumbling block for any future transfer could be the fee demanded by the Sicilian’s patron.

Another could be the reported interest from wealthier foreign clubs such as Arsenal, who would find it far easier than the Italian champions to fund the players exists from the Stadio Renzo Barbera.
