Following their 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, Juventus are now concentrating on extending the contract of Claudio Marchisio.

The 29-year-old has been with Juventus for the majority of his life – having joined the club at the age of seven and has played for the club for his whole career save for a short loan spell at Empoli.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that next week negotiations will get underway with an official approach at the request of Massimiliano Allegri who views the Azzurri international as a key player for his side.

His current deal expires in June 2016 and the club are keen to offer him an extension until summer 2019 and are set to offer him €3.5 million plus bonuses.

In the coming days, the club will also be set to confirm the contact renewals of sporting director Fabio Paratici as well as Beppe Marotta who is set to commit until 2018.

The Italian champions are also believed to have overtaken Inter in the race for Amadou Diawara of San Marino, a promising 16-year-old central midfielder.
