Lazio ChoreographyLazio have been fined for the territorial discriminatory nature of their supporter’s chants during Sunday’s victory over Verona as the Serie A sporting courts handed down a number of judgments on Monday in relation to the weekend’s league fixtures.

The capital club will have to pay a penalty of €15,000 for the chorus of abuse aimed at the visiting Veronese supporters which were judged to have breached the leagues controversial territorial discrimination rules.

In other rulings, Napoli coach Rafael Benitez was given a warning by the court in Rome after being sent to the stands for the first time in his career during the Partenopei’s 1-1 draw with Atalanta.

The Spaniard was furious that the visitors opening goal was given by the referee despite an alleged foul on Napoli’s Henrique during the build up.

Napoli’s sporting director Riccardo Bigon and Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini were also sanctioned for their protests against refereeing decisions.

The former, like his coach, was given a warning while the later was banned until the end of the month following the Rossoblu’s 3-1 defeat to AC Milan.
