Lazio’s in-form Brazilian star Felipe Anderson is aiming for Olympic gold with his country next year.
Brazil have not yet won an Olympic gold medal for football, something Anderson dreams of changing at Rio 2016.
“I hope to continue to play well with Lazio so that I may be summoned for international duty again”, he said, speaking to the press after the Brazil U23’s 0-0 draw with Mexico on Sunday.
“The Olympic gold medal Brazil lacks is the goal I want to achieve in Rio de Janeiro next year.
“We are very focused, each of us will work hard at club level to represent Brazil at the 2016 Olympics. We want to give great joy to the fans.”
