Liverpool are believed to be readying a bid for Inter midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has made 25 appearances in Serie A, scoring five goals, but doubts remain over his relationship with coach Roberto Mancini, who doesn’t seem to favour the youngster.
Among those interested are Liverpool, who are ready to table a €30 million bid for the ex-Dinamo Zagreb player, according to Tuttosport, with fellow Premier League team Arsenal scouting the midfielder as well as Barcelona.
If Kovacic departs the Milan outfit, it is believed that Roberto Mancini will look to bring in Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure as a replacement, the Ivorian having won multiple trophies under Mancini in England.
However, his form has declined this season and the 31-year-old could find himself heading towards the exit door, with Inter an option.
