Liverpool’s Mario Balotelli has uploaded a video to Instagram where he confronts his critics and tells them to shut up.
The 24-year-old Italian forward asked whether his doubters know him or what he has been through in his life.
“Do you know me?” asks Balotelli on the social media site as he looks straight into the camera.
“Did you ever talk to me, personally?
“Do you know what I’ve been through in my life?
“You just saw me play football on the pitch so, man, shut up.”
The video was uploaded with the hashtag ‘I do what I want’ and ‘My mood today’ although it is not yet clear what criticism sparked Balotelli’s reaction.
The striker has made eight Premier League starts for the Anfield club and scored one goal.
